Perfect with matching cardi
I bought the long cardigan for my mom's bday in December. We live near Houston, and she has worn that sweater as a coat on our cold days. Adding the scarf improved its protection on recent windy colder days.

Great winter scarf!

Lightweight warmth
This scarf surprised me...I actually bought it for a guy, thinking it was neutral and masculine enough, especially at the sales price. However, it is not the thick weight I was thinking and instead I will gift it to a girlfriend. The material is very thin yet warm...a fine wool weave.

This scarf is too thin to wear outside in a Minnesota winter, but it’s too thick to wear inside with a top. Pattern is pretty. Might work in the south where temps don’t get as cold.

I ordered this one and the black/white windowpane scarf.
The black/white windowpane scarf went better with the hat I got last year at Talbots, so I returned this one. Abut this one is very pretty.

Lovely soft fine knit wool scarf
I ended up getting this to give as a gift (she loved it!) and got another one for myself! It goes with many solid colors such as Talbots signature red, bright blue, ivory and of course black and some greys. I could see it with various shades of pink and fushia as well. Fair Isle is a true classic design so I'll enjoy for the rest of my life!

Lightweight & comfortable
I’ve had this scarf for about a month ... LOVE IT! It’s lightweight wool yet very soft & comfortable; not at all scratchy. The classic print makes it versatile to go with other prints & certainly solids. I have several black & ivory scarves; this is one of my new faves!

Nice Pattern and Drape
I bought this scarf to add some pizazz to my solid winter coats and jackets. It is a woven fabric, so it’s not quite as cozy and soft as a knit. However, it is also not bulky and has a nice drape to it. The pattern is visible on both sides. Finally, even though the fabric is 100% wool, it does not feel itchy or scratchy. I think this scarf will look especially great with a red or bright blue coat. Adds a punch of pattern without being too busy.
