Classic and Basic
I bought the matching jacket last year and was rather upset as I had missed the navy which was my preference, but I thought the black was a good basic piece to even dress up jeans. As it turned out I needed an interview outfit, so I was pleased that I was able to get the matching black skirt. I also know that I will be able to wear the skirt alone with other tops. So all in all a classy basic piece that I am pleased about!

Different navy than last year
I had purchased the navy wool blazer and pants last year and wanted to add the skirt this year. The salesperson assured me the navy’s would be the same, as the fabric composition was the same. Color was not identical.

Classic looks, great fit and fabric!
I am excited with the fit and the fabric of this skirt. At 5’1”, 107 pounds, the 4P is a perfect fit. The navy color and the weight of the fabric is ideal for any season in Central Florida.

Great lightweight wool skirt
I really liked the drape of the fabric and that it wax lined. It is like men’s fine wool slacks and it is light weight and can be worn year round. I did have to buy a size 6 , I’m 5’7.5” tall and weigh 131 pounds. The waist was still a bit loose but fit well in the hips . The navy was so nice I am waiting to buy the black when it goes on sale again.

Big Disappointment
I always have bought a 4P skirt from Talbots. This one, however, runs very short and is poorly designed. The waist (no waistband, which I have liked) is very large and hip area is more fitted than it should be in this size. The fabric does not have a smooth/soft hand like the other seasonless wool items I have (including the sheath is just recently purchased. This is a poor quality item.
