SO GREAT!!
I bought this sweater on a whim because the high quality cashmere for the price was too good to pass up. After wearting the sweater for a while, I went back and bought two more. I seriously love the fit of this sweater--and it can be worn to work or out to dinner. I dressed it up with a long necklace and fun earrings.

Fit and sizing is good.
The only thing that good be better with this sweater is the weight or thickness. Its quite thin....in comparison with other cashmere sweaters I have. The sale price meets the quality.

Sizing was perfect with a beautiful jewel neckline
I bought two of these beautiful Audrey Cashmere sweaters (one red and one black) and am so pleased with my decision. I am especially pleased with the red color--it is a spot-on true red--I love it! They are comfortable alone but also could accommodate a light polo underneath. I am very short waisted, so the length also works well.

Great light weight and airy sweater that you can wear with jeans or dress slacks. Colors are beautiful. Seems a little more fitted through the body than my normal size. Love it and a best buy when it's on sale.

I bought this a week ago. Love the Audrey style with a slightly higher neck and 3/4” sleeves. Super stylish! And so soft. Excellent quality. I only wish I bought more!

Quality lacking.
In the fall II bought a light blue Talbot cashmere with the fisherman 3/4 sleeve in light blue. I love the yarn and quality. Very nice.
quality. On sale I bought an AudreyTalbot Cashmere and also a turlte neck cashmere on.sale because they were
such a good value on sale, . But the quality of the Audrey yarn and the weave I think
is inferior. It is too loosely woven. the turtle neck sweaater is too loosly woven and has no stretch. The sweater yarn is thin and has no streach.
Is this two ply cashmere? The Sweater also has static which makes me think it
cannot be pure cashmere. I love Talbots and regret giving such a critical review.

Is the light carriage green more of a light jade or robin's egg/Tiffany blue?
I purchased this color for my mom, and I would say it is more of a muted aqua tone...more green than blue, but the heathered knit makes it more subdued than bright.

I am drawn to Talbot's clothing yet through the years I have noticed the sweaters getting thinner and thinner. For instance a light color is see-through. I do like this sweater and I would like to know the thickness or I guess the ply thickness of it.
I have noticed how thin the cashmere sweaters (and some of the merino wool sweaters) have gotten. Other stores are the same. My solution has been to buy a larger size, hand wash as stated in the care tag. Sometimes the sweater will shrink a bit. If still too large, wash in warm water and partially dry in the dryer until the sweater has shrunk to the right size. The slightly shrunken sweater will get thicker, thus warmer. This obviously is NOT recommended by Talbots, and must be done very carefully or you will end up with a sweater three sizes too small.

Is the Ivory Audrey cashmere sweater in solid Ivory at all 'see through' ?
I purchased this sweater in ivory last month, and immediately returned it due to its being see-through. The entire outline of my nude color bra showed clearly through the sweater. I own Audrey sweaters in numerous colors, and have only had this problem with the ivory.

I was reading some of the answers to the posted questions. It was stated that cashmere should be combed before washing. What does that mean exactly? I have never owned a cashmere sweater. Thank you.
It appears a customer has replied to a question and added that she combs the sweater. We have not stated you should "comb" a sweater before washing.

I don’t know what size to buy the Audrey sweater in. I am 123 lbs and a 34 bust. I do not like it fitted

In the past two years, the Audrey cashmere sweater pilled after a few wearings. Last year, I returned my sweater. Has the quality been enhanced this year?
I would like to add that it is usuallly just new cashmere that pills. Once the sweater has been worn and washed several times, the pilling lessens and eventually stops altogether. Cashmere should be combed prior to hand washing.
