Poor styling and poor quality
This top is shapeless and way too long - not one thing flattering about this look. It is overpriced. Fabric quality is not worthy of the cost. I second another reviewer’s request for scoop neck tops. I used to buy them all!
Bring them back please - with a tapered - not shapeless boxy fit and with fabric worthy of the price Talbots charges. I can purchase poor quality elsewhere for a whole lot less!!

Fit very nice.
I loved this tee. For some reason the purple tee fit tighter than the daisy tee, which I ended up returning. I ordered them both in the same size.

A Favorite Tee
I love this tee. Since it already has 3/4 sleeves, so I don't have to push up the sleeves. It's the perfect length, right near the hip. This is one of those tops that is always in the laundry.

Great fabric blend. Good sleeve length.
Washes up like a dream. At first I removed this tee from the dryer while still a bit damp and was concerned that it had lost its shape. So I simply returned it to the dryer until fully dry; it went back to its original shape with no color loss, no wrinkles. So I ordered four more.

I bought this in several colors & love every one of them. Besides getting black I also ordered the yellow, which is a very soft yellow. Great color for spring & summer! Fit I would say is true to size

Questions
I love the look and fit of these tees. However, every one I wear gets a small hole on the front, right in the area of the button on the fly of my pants. (Which are all Talbots jeans or pants) does anyone else have this problem?
I seem to have this very same problem, but not with just Talbot's tops. I do not know what has changed in today's fabrics, but I hate that all my tops get holes in them. At first I thought it was my belt buckle, but I'm not so sure any more. I have some tops that are years old and they don't get those little holes and yet I have tops just months old when those pesky little holes appear! I just threw one of my favorite tops in the trash because of this very reason. :(

I see this Tee is 100% cotton. Does it shrink?
Talbots basic tees are constructed from 100% preshrunk Pima cotton and should not shrink when care instructions are followed

When I washed the "Fresh Mint" color of this tee for the first time (cold wash, delicate cycle) - it lost color in patches - almost as if it had been exposed to bleach - which it wasn't. Has anyone else reported this? It is unwearable.
Yes, this happened to mine. I didn’t report it because I thought we had caused the problem. I love these tops and own MANY. I have not had problems with any others. I love the color and am very sad about my loss of this shirt.

Will bateau neck T-shirt’s fabric be heavier when ordered in fall/winter months? The ones I ordered in summer were thin and did not wear well.
The tees are the same but offered in fall/winter seasonal colors.

What is the "fabric content"? There is never enough information.
Fabric is very thin and not what the price equals. Talbots should use the same quality fabrics as they used to use. I will be returning this.

On the fit of the three quarter sleeve bateau neck tee. Should I order the small or medium in petite? I am 5’4. I don’t want it to be too long. I measure 34 1/2 bust, 28 waist, and 37 1/2 hips. I would like it loose fitting but not too big.

In white and lighter colors, there could be slight transparency. We recommend wearing nude/flesh color undergarments to minimize this effect.
