Crisp and fresh
Love this dress. The colors are crisp yet soft and feminine. The fit is true, 8P is my usual size and this was no exception. It is well made, with the stripes matching up perfectly, which is especially necessary at the hemline.

Sateen stripe dress
I love this dress, but gave it only 4 stars as the size 2 petite is still a little large. Talbots either has to get more realistic with their sizing, or start offering everything in size zero. I find it maddening that a 2 petite in jeans, pants or capris, fits me beautifully, but I’m constantly struggling to find a Talbots dress that really fits. The waist is slightly too high also. I’m 5’4” so I’m right on the border of petites; perhaps I’ll try a size 2 misses next time. This will be a great party dress, but won’t take it traveling. The fabric would not do well without being ironed.

Chic and Crisp Look
I can not say enough good things about this dress. Amazing fabric, chic clean look and style. Very versatile. I’ve worn it to a wedding rehearsal with heel sandals as well as through the day with a pair of pink casual sandals. It also packs well for a trip—No wrinkles!

Perfect for Beach Club Party
Purchased this in 12P ( have curvy-chubby figure usually take 12-14 P in slacks and shorts 5'1" 160 lbs )dress looks great. Comfortable with flats or heeled sandals
skirt is forgiving and the sewn down pleats on the hips keep the skirt from adding too much bulk. Great styling. Lots of compliments. Love it and plan on wearing it again soon.

Good dress, but.....
The GOOD: Great quality made. Good somewhat heavy outer cotton material. Has pockets. Good bright color stripes.
The BAD: Horrible polyester lining. White is not bright white, but rather cream color.

Gorgeous, well-fitting frock
This is a truly lovely, very well made summer dress. My usual 6 petite fits me like a glove (I’m 5’2”, 120 lb.). The stripes are a bit thicker than I thought, but the colors just as lush. A flattering classic style with a crisp modern pattern—-perfect in every respect!
