Great fit
I have purchased several pairs of these pants over the past 3-4 years. The curvy fit is perfect for me My usual pant size is 10 (with alterations in waist and hip) when purchasing curvy I wear a size 8. The one thing that changes every year is the pockets. This year there is a coin pocket, which I like but the larger pocket is the same depth as the coin pocket AND extends to the fly front. Makes the pocket worthless. I am keeping them because of the great fit, fabric and color.

Why do you limit the plus-sized woman's options to 4 drab colors? Having a larger frame is no indication for not wanting to be pretty. Why do manufacturers conclude that?

Nice style, but too stretchy.
The style, curvy, straight leg, is really nice. However, they stretch so quickly I can only wear them for a couple of hours and then have to wash them again.

Good quality. Comfortable and soft, medium weight, and I really like the dark teal color. Matches two sweaters I bought to go with the pants. I bought the curvy size, because they were out of the regular, and they are roomy.

Twilight Teal is a lighter, blue-green, whereas the Topiary Green is a dark, forest green.

What is the difference between curvy and regular?
The curvy version is for women with a smaller waist than in the hips. There is a bit more material around the hips and thighs.You might have to try both regular and curvy cut. Although I am curvy I found the hip material to have more fabric than I needed. I am 5:5 and 165.

Are the STRETCH CORDUROY STRAIGHT LEG PANTS - CURVY FIT available in store?
This is always my (usually) one and only complaint with Talbots!!! There are many, many curvy women that want the availablity of curvy pants in the stores! I don't believe they don't have room in the stores; however if that is true, MAKE ROOM!!!!!!

Any issue with shrinking in the length? I just received a pair which are perfect but if they shrink they will be too short. Ordered Petite
The fabric content is 98% cotton, 2% spandex and should retain its shape. When following the recommended care instructions (Machine Wash; Tumble Dry Low), the shrinkage should be around 3%.

Do these pants shrink? I purchased my regular size, but it seems too generous in the hips and legs. Wondering whether to go down a size or if they will fit better after washing.
We suggest you order down one size when ordering curvy fit. For instance if you wear a regular misses 10, you will want a size 8 in curvy fit. Otherwise, you may want the regular fit. We do not expect more than 3% shrinkage if you follow the manufactures care instructions.
