Smart black wool skirt

Skirts too long
It is too long for a petite woman of 4’11”. I read all the time about women wanting longer dresses and longer skirts. They obviously are taller petites. A truly petite woman’s skirt or dress hem should be an inch above knee for the most flattering look. I wish I could buy dresses there. Back in the day talbot made dresses shorter and I bought them.please bring them back!,!,!,!,

A perfect skirt!
I purchased this skirt in both black and navy and have worn them multiple times. The stretch in this fabric in concert with the smooth lighter weight is perfect. I have skirts in ponte and have liked them, but they do stretch out during the day, pull and wrinkle after a few hours. These hold shape all day and the expanded pleat rather than slit in the back is far preferable. They are dry clean only, but I can carefully wear a few times before cleaning. I wear in my regular size but they are fitted so if you want a fit with more ease I would recommend going up a size. I love these!

No pleats
I understand many women like the pleats -- however, I've found, after sitting all day at the office, the pleats are a wrinkled mess. Please offer a plain, ordinary, classic, seasonless wool pencil skirt at all times!

Nice wardrobe basic
The Skirt is of a light and well draping fabric. Love the pleats. The black is a bit "pale" but still works. My only issue is with the sizing: had to go up a full size to be comfortable when sitting.
