74 yr grandmother
I shop Talbots for most all my clothes being 4'11. Their petite turtlenecks fit me perfectly. I just recently purchased the white and enjoy dressing up or down. Love their pants too especially chinos.

Good for layering
This turtleneck is very light but comfortable. The neck is wide so not an old fashioned turtleneck. Best for layering, too thin to wear alone.

No quite what I expected

I wish that size and fabric would stay consistent year to year...and that more colors would be offered. Already have navy and black..new colors sell out very quickly.

Best lighter weight turtleneck
If you are looking for a lighter weight turtleneck to wear as a layering piece then this is the one to buy. For me the neck is perfect as I do not feel as if I am being choked. The fabric is soft and very comfortable to wear. I have several in various colors and will buy more.

Questions
Sparkling grape in PM sold out online when first offered, & no stores I called had it, saying no more were expected. So I ord. Plus Pet. 1X hoping to shrink (no). Explain why it showed up in a later catalog & online. Tried to order PM again, sold out.
We do apologize the sparkling grape was sold out in the petite medium. The catalogs are made a year in advance, We would have not been able to take the color out. As far as the color showing back up, It could have been a return.

I just bought the long-sleeve turtleneck and the neck is too large. While the T-neck is comfortable the neck sags and is not flattering. If I go to a smaller size or a petite, will the neck fit tighter?
