almost perfect, but ...
i usually LOVE the bateau-neck tops, but this one gives me pause. i usually wear a S in the others - SO glad i tried this one on first. where the others have their own stretch, this gives you NONE - so i went up a size. it fits nicely and looks good ... except that pretty braiding - EVERYthing seems to snag on it. i think my wedding rings have caused some damage, and who knows what else! but it is riddled with snags!
the top IS very pretty and looks very nice on.
it’s just the give the material lacked was unexpected, as was the snagability of the top.

Casual looking top
It’s a casual top and looks casual too! I bought a olive green. The good thing is my bra doesn’t show from the shoulders which is typically the case with bateau neck tops.

A classic--versatile and comfortable
Always a classic style that travels well. I bought the rose quartz, new color that I love. I turned it inside out and washed it in cold water. I've worn it this summer to locations with too cold air conditioning and look forward to wearing it into fall.

Questions
What type of fabric is this top made from? It picks very easily. I can’t remember ever having anything from Talbots in the many years I shopped there that was of such inferior quality!
This top is 100% pima cotton.
