I ended up getting white shorts rather than pink, but looking forward to getting pink next spring. Love the length of these shorts. Classy, not too short. Talbots does such a great job with shorts I may not ever buy them anywhere else.

Are the classic length shorts the same as last year’s perfect short 9 inch length short?
The classic length shorts have a 9-inch inseam as do the perfect shorts. Customers are finding them to be very similar and are pleased with the fit.

Still confused. The Q&A says the pockets are functional, yet reviewers continue to post that there are no pockets (as recently as two days ago, so I know pockets weren't added later). So.... are there pockets? Because no pockets is a deal breaker.
Love not having side pockets. I like the smaller pockets. More slimming. Maybe carry a small crossover bag with necessities. As for golf...these are not moisture wicking...maybe the skorts Talbots offers would be a great golf bottom.
