Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the classics The end-on-end fabric is lovely, the color is great, and the shirt washes beautifully. I bought the shirt on sale and I'm so happy with it. Thank you, Talbots!

The color says Blue/White...but it looks all blue, where is the white to on this shirt?

Asked by: CoCo
This type of cloth is referred to as Oxford cloth. The vertical threads are usually white and the horizontal threads are a solid color. The fabric appears to be a solid color until close examination. This shirt is a blue/white example.

Why blue/white and why lay flat to dry?

Asked by: Ilene 55
'End on end' is a process where two colored yarns (blue and white) are woven together, giving a solid appearance. The fabric content should read 96% cotton and 4% Lycra which is the reason we recommend air drying.
