These run small
These are at least a size too small. I was able to get them on but they were way too tight. I didn’t like the fabric enough to try a larger size. The fabric is very thin, like a summer weight.

Perfect
I bought these for Thanksgiving and honestly the fit was great and as I greeted guests, served dinner and exploded with dessert these pants were the most comfortable ever!!!

Nice fabric.
I really like these pants. They're actually nicer than I expected for a stretch fabric.
However, they are a little clingy. I ordered two sizes and returned the smaller, which is not unusual for stretch clothing. So order a size up on these.

Comfortable.
These pants are very high quality fabric, and wear well. This style fits my full hips better than other styles. The pants fit true to size, although slightly snugger fitting than I would like, but still are very comfortable. The thing I don't like is that they have belt loops, and I don't like to wear a belt. I also don't like to go without a belt if there are beltloops there. So, I just wear these pants with a top over them, and/or with a jacket, so that one can't see the beltloops. Since these pants are pull on, I wish they did not have beltloops, so that shirts lay over the waist a little more smoothly. Overall, I still like the pants and have ordered a pair in the charcoal grey color.

Great fiting and material
I just bought this pants in black and wear it all day today, it looks very nice washes and dries no problem.
I came back and order every color and intended to wear these all the time.
Money well spent.

Thought the slacks were poor quality......not up to the Talbott standard nor the standard I expected. Material looked cheap. Ordered 16W which is the size I order in other slacks. These were too tight.

What is the leg opening on 14 petite?
The leg opening for size 14 petite is 16 1/8".

What is the lower leg opening on a 16 petite? Is the rise different on a petite as opposed to a reg pair?
The leg opening is 16 and 3/4 inches in the 16 Petite. In the 16 Petite, the front rise is 11 and 3/4 inches and the back rise is 17 and 3/8. In the 16 Misses, the front rise is 12 and 1/8 inches and the back rise is 17 and 3/4.

Can you recommend a jacket in a similar fabric to pair with the Cambridge pants?
The Bi-stretch wool blazer should blend nicely, item P193019525. The difference is the blazer has wool. The fabric is 55% wool, 20% rayon, 18% polyester, and 7% spandex. The pant has 73% polyester, 20% viscose(rayon), and 7% spandex. There is no promise the dyes will match. The jacket will appear and feel heavier than the pant. The Cambridge pant does not have a jacket created to make a suit in the same exact fabric.

Will these pants shrink as many of Talbot's pants do when laundered? I like the fit, but if it shrinks any, it could be too snug for comfort. The next size seems too loose.
There should only be a very small amount of shrinkage in the poly/viscose/spandex fabrication. We recommend that you always follow the care instructions provided by the vendor in order to extend the life of the garment.

There is about an inch of give when the waistband is stretched.
