Comfortable, Great Fit, Easy Care!
I picked up my first pair of these cords in a store, so that I could see the color (the dusty rose) and feel the material before purchasing. I absolutely love them, and have ordered two more pairs online. The pants are almost velvety soft - softer than previous year's Talbots cords, if that is possible - and the colors are beautiful. They seem to have a slightly finer wale than previous years' cords as well. The high-waisted, straight-leg fit is a classic style, and the size, 2P for me seems to be consistently accurate. It seems, however that when Talbots offers a 0P in a given item, the fit is slightly roomier, without being baggy, and sizing down to 0P works well for a more fitted look without being tight.

Great fit and very comfortable
These cords fit really well. Because they are not a heavy weight fabric they can be worn fall through spring, making them extremely versatile. I have them in black, burgundy (not sure what color is called), teal and toast. One thing I like about Talbots pants is that I find I am a consistent size in whatever style I order- I have at least five different styles of pant, all in size 10.

Not a good petite fit
I really wanted these corduroys, but the fit is very strange. I usually wear a 4 Petite and have some Talbots cords that fit great. But these were about 6 inches too long.....not acceptable for petites even though I could have them shortened. But then the overall fit is off......I returned them.

Teal is not teal
I ordered the teal color and it doesn’t look like the color online. The actual color is very dark, almost a navy blue

My favorite pants
I love these high rise light weigh cord jeans. I own about 10 pair. They fit great. The are snug at first and give just a bit, which I appreciate. Grey is my favorite of the colors. The dark colors look almost like velour...and can be dressed up. I love the high waist. It is so much more flattering for anyone who has a bit of muffin top. Great slimming comfy jeans, unlike heavy corduroy. Highly recommend.

Fit larger than previous years!
I buy this style of cord every year. Missed size 4. This year I bought 2 pairs and they are a full size larger than all of my previous Talbots cords. I measured them and they are 1/2 inch wider from waist to ankle. They are now a frumpy fit and ridiculous. I am not a tiny person and now apparently am a size 2 at Talbots. Please fix your vanity sizing so customers can receive what they order. I live in Canada and had to pay duty and hefty shipping fees, only to now have to return these larger than life pants.

Need bigger front pockets, please!
These corduroy pants are very nice. They fit well and are comfortable to wear . They wash and dry very nicely; however the ONE thing that would made them 5 stars is useable deeper front pockets.

Can you put a boot under this pant leg. Why don't you make pants anymore to accommodate a boot? So upsetting. Can't find a boot leg pant anymore.
I wanted to help with your question if I may. I have several of these corduroy pants and am able to wear leather boots under them, not my knee-high boots but mid calf and my lower thick boots. I hope this helps.

Can the burgundy and teal colors be re-ordered as the colors were less than 2 to 3 weeks? As a premier member, I predominately shop at Talbot's as I know my sizes. Recently, many clothes are out of stock, which is disappointing for me and others.
