I read the reviews saying that the blazer was cut large, but size a size 2 jacket is often snug on me, but a 4 is too big, I figured I would get lucky here with a slightly larger size 2. Alas, this is cut larger than a normal Talbots size 4--the shoulder lines were off, the body was too large (though sleeve length was fine). Also, I bought "camel" but it's not camel colored, it's more of a medium brown sugar color. Very sorry to have to return this, since I got such a great deal on Black Friday. I might consider a petite, even though usually the arms are too short in a petite.

I love the longer length of this blazer and feel of the fabric. However, I found it is too tight across the back of the shoulders and the sleeves way too long. I found that many of the Talbot's blazers offered this past year were too tight across the shoulders. It just didn't fit my petite 10 frame nicely and regret having to return it.

Nice jacket but not for me

Runs large
I think this is a very nice jacket—like the length, fabric and color. However, I always wear size 12 in Talbots jackets and this one runs large. I didn’t realize how large it was until I wore it, so I couldn’t return it. I will have to get it tailored. Make sure it is a good fit when you receive it.

Can this be a work/interview jacket or is it considered more of a coat/outside wear?
This jacket is not an outwear coat and is definitely appropriate for work or an interview. It is incredibly soft and a classic style.

How is the back supposed to fit? The picture on model shows it hanging straight, but mine sticks out, seems like on one side, and does not seem to lay flat. Thanks.

I have grey (salt/pepper) hair/ brown eyes, fair skin. Do you think I can wear this camel color? What would look good with it? Usually I wear size 10. Would an 8 work?
The best way to wear a color you do not prefer close to your face is to add a scarf to accent the look and put a break between you and the color. The scarf also acts as a coordinating piece pulling all the colors of your look together. A few colors we suggest based off of your information are red, blue, oranges, black, etc. Play with the colors you like. Camel is a very neutral color to work with most anything. I bought this and now I'm wondering if it tends to wrinkle easily? I had it behind some clothing hanging on my door and now it seems kind of wrinkled.
Yes it wrinkles. It arrived in a plastic bag and was so wrinkled I sent it back.

Is this considered an oversized fit, I usually wear a 10, too big, even the size 6 looked too big, how is it suppose to fit?

This jacket is beautiful. However, even though I downsized to 8 misses, the sleeves are so long and shortening them will ruin the details of the buttons and buttonholes. If I go to a petite size, what size should I consider?
We would not recommend changing to a Petite if you normally wear a Misses, because the fit in the shoulders will not be right.
