Not for pear shaped women
The dress is very nice but not for pear shaped women at all. I'm 5'2, 148 lbs and pear shaped. I bought the 10P which is my usual size in Talbots dresses. I have to return because it's too tight in the thighs/bum and too big on top. A size larger wouldn't have fit either. I gave it 4 stars only because it would be lovely for another kind of shape (upside down triangle). I should have noticed this on the model as she has curves on bottom too.

This years LBD
This dress is very flattering, especially the neckline. It's a little long like all of this years dresses and it really can't be hemmed. Fantastic LBD. Fit is just right.

Simple elegance
Love this tipped ponte sheath dress. It has a color block vibe to it. The fabric is very comfortable and slenderizing. I will get a lot of use out of this dress. Fit is great. Very comfortable and the length is just below the knee on me, which is perfect.

Another classic piece that is made very well. The fabric is thick but very soft and the piping sewn beautifully and straight. I can wear this dress for years to come.

It fits very well on the waist, and top. I´ll just have to raise the length a little bit, cause is too long. The fabric is thin, different from the picture. It looks nice

Mature, sophisticated dress
Beautiful dress. Fits well. Not frumpy like a lot of dresses from Talbot .Would have preferred that the top of the dress had a deeper V neck but still a nice dress.
Can’t wait to wear this fall.
