Much better than on the model
I had my eyes on this skirt for a while-despite its matronly look on the model. The skirt is made of high quality fabric and constructed very well. The mismatched check overlay, the wrap and lack of a back vent gives this skirt a high end designer look. I am a petite 5'2" and 145Lb and ordered a Petite10- which was perfect.

Contrasting plaid front clashes with jacket
Fit and style were good. I like this plaid. Tilted plaid on front of skirt clashed with the matching jacket. With a blouse or sweater the skirt looks fine.

The darkest color in the skirt is black. The black is thin lines. You might be able to use a black navy sweater. A lighter brighter navy blue would not work.
