Very tight in thighs
These jeans run very small, but even if you size up, they are tight in the thigh with a very exaggerated flare at the bottom. The waist is really high and they are very long even on me and I am tall. If you are quite thin and tall, I would try these jeans if you care for the flare look. I prefer boot cut or the wide leg jeans in the Rivington wash or black (although those are a little short on me).

Retro Jeans!
These jeans are a perfect fit for me. Love their flared legs, their faded color, and the softness of the fabric. Too, I like the longer length as it enables me to wear the jeans with a higher heel or a wedge, making them very wearable for dressier occasions. I will note that these jeans are very slim fitting through the hips and legs. (For me, most Talbots jeans are wider than I would like in both the hips and thigh area as I tend to have a straighter figure.) All in all, these jeans are a great purchase

I need stilts to wear these!
These are waaaay too long..even with heels.Color is good..fabric thin...I'll be unloading these back to the store once they re-open.

I really love these jeans. My biggest issue with Talbots petities is that pants are too long.

The wide leg jeans are not designed to have a frayed hem in the back of the leg.

I normally wear Misses 8 in Talbots jeans. Should I size up to a 10 if I order a petite?
The 10 Petite will be shorter in the length, the waist and hip will be 1/2" larger.

How much should I expect these to stretch at 70% cotton (1/2" at waist)?
The fabrication has give to it and spandex to retain it's shape. The waistband shouldn't stretch. The fibers may relax which is a natural characteristic of denim. The fibers will tighten back up upon laundering.
