Great pants for dress or casual or yoga class
I have these in black, navy, light gray, and the newest darker gray. Good quality fabric and colors do not fade. I am 5 ft, 116 lbs and ordered Petite Medium. They fit perfectly in the hips and front/back rise and they did not require shortening! Just wish the current pants have the flat back pockets for my cell phone. Otherwise a great item & even better if you find them on sale!

I absolutely love these pants! I bought my first pair 2 years ago and now have 4 (2 black, navy, and grey). They are so comfortable. You can dress them up or down. To me they are worth investing in. Great quality and super soft (with structure).

Favorite pants
Talbots pants are my favorite. I love this style and fit so much I have 4 pair, different colors. You can wear them anywhere. I really wish there was a brown and I would own that one too!

Love these pants and have then in every color. The wide waist band is so comfortable that I hate wearing pants with regular waist bands. They wash well and keep their shape.

Warm and cozy
I wear this pants at times when weather outside is cold. This is a warm pants and the fabric is a good quality. Once you wash though, it may change its shape a little. So it is best to lay flat to dry after washing.

So comfortable. Stretch keeps them looking nice. I recommend line drying to preserve navy and black color. The zip pocket makes the profile smooth

Do these pants shrink in length after machine drying?
No, I wash on Warm water setting and dry on Medium. None of my 3 pairs has shrunk in length or width and have not faded. Great pants. I am 4'11", 116 lbs. The petite Medium fits perfectly in hip, waist, front/back rise. AND I did not need to shorten these pants! Love them. Can dress them up or down.

How far does the waist stretch on these yoga pants?
I apologize that we do not have that exact measurement. The pant does have an elastic waist, and so it does extend.

Are these just joga style pants or are thery also appropriate for actual yoga class and/or gym training attire?
These are perfectly comfortable for both yoga and Pilates. I often lie face down in these classes and the pants have never bothered me. The zippers are quite thin and smooth. The pants are so comfortable it's easy to end up wearing them all day! I own the navy and the black.

Is marcasite heather more gray or brown in your yoga pants with the straight leg for $48
It is a dark grey color. This matches the new tops that are this color. The price you mentioned is taking advantage of the present 30 percent sale, otherwise they are higher at full price.
