Great look and fit!
I LOVED these pants! They fit perfectly and looked great! Until I washed them. I followed the care instructions (machine wash and line dry), but they totally lost their luster! I loved them so much, however, that I ordered another pair which I will dry clean instead of machine wash.

Not the typical stretch waist pull-on pant

Are the Essex pants the same as what you called last year “bi-stretch pull on ankle pants”? Last year these pants only came in about 4 or 5 colors. Are these the same?
REALLY, The black ones I received were not labeled Essex pants, the tan pair did have the Essex label.

I wear an 8 in Chatham ankle and I prefer to wear a 10 in the denim jeggings. What size might fit best in the Essex?
For a looser fit through the leg, you may want to try a size 10 since you prefer that size in our jeggings.

Do these shrink after washing/drying? Or do they stretch out over the day? I'm trying to decide between sizes. In other words, should they fit snugly to start with or would it be better to start with a little extra room?
These pants are 53% cotton & 41% rayon. That combination is bound to shrink. The 6% spandex won't compensate. Luckily, they were out of my size.
