horrible color.
There is a huge difference in the color shown on the internet than the actual in person color. It is a muted pumpkin color, pict shows a reddish orange. Going back!

A Forever Wardrobe Necessity
A military sweater jacket will never go out of style. It transcends age, body shape, fashion changes that come and go. It is an investment that will pay off in a beautifully made garment that is at home with a pair of jeans or leggings as well as tailored pants. It can go over a little black dress or a full length tartan skirt. I chose it for a 50 percent off purchase recently. Money well spent!

Beautiful Sweater
I am 5’2” 125 pounds and the Petite Medium gave me the perfect fit. The red was not a bright clear red as in the photograph, but it is still a beautiful shade of red. Quality is very nice and I am sure I will enjoy wearing it.

Has anyone tried laundering these jackets? I love the look, but have not had good experience laundering wool at home, even washed in cold water . Wouldn’t dry cleaning be safer?
I have this sweater from prior year and have only taken it to my organic dry cleaner which works well. I imagine the cost savings would be relative to the amount of wear. I honestly never thought of trying the kit dryel. I would never try washing anything wooly at home to avoid color running or stretching the material out, regardless of brand or manufacturer. I just bought the indigo blue version this year. Love this sweater.

Does the jacket have a boxy shape or does it have some shaping darts? I have not seen a picture of it from the back.
This jacket has slight shaping through the waist but does not have darts.

Are Misses XL and Plus X the same size?

Are the sleeves wide enough to easily go over other clothes without a lot of tugging?
The military sweater jacket has an industry standard sleeve width. The width changes per size and entity. The amount of ease in the arm will depend on the thickness of the other layering pieces added.
