Chatham Ankle Pant Pant - Solid - Curvy Fit - INDIGO-BLUE - 2 - Talbots is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just love these trousers! I must have 15 pair of Chatham trousers. They are definitely my style. No front bunching zipper, or side pockets. Even though I purchase petite and sometimes crops.....I have to have the leg hems taken up.......but I don't mind. These are the best fitting pants ever!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice pants, but too tight I have ordered Chatham pants in the past, because I like the slim leg and narrow ankle. In the past, I have ordered a 4 P, because the 6P waist is too big. This time, the 4P was too tight, so unfortunately, I had to return the pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit and sizing I bought these this month and also last year. I wish the fabric wasn't so difficult to press or iron--very difficult to get wrinkles out. I would love to see these offered in a wrinkle-free fabric with a little less spandex.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shrink Like Crazy These pants fit me perfectly before I washed them. I followed the label’s instructions and even removed them from the dryer after only 15 to 20 minutes. I couldn’t believe how much tighter and shorter they were. I will return and keep looking for pants that come up to the waist and fit well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curvy Fit Chathams never fail to flatter! I just received my second pair of navy Curvy Fit Chatham pants, and probably my 6th pair of Missy 8 Curvy Fit Chatham ankle pants that I own. (I'm 5'4" 138 lbs and pear shaped). I find that the fit and fabric is essentially consistent with last year's version. (I did note last year that the fashion color Chathams had a tighter fit than the neutral color ones did. Can't comment on that yet this year.) This navy pair does not disappoint. I don't know how Talbots styles these pants, but C.F. Chatham ankle pants never fail to flatter. They always make me look at least one size smaller than I am. Maybe its the non-clingy fabric and the slim leg - as well as enough room in the hips and a slightly smaller waist size that works so well for me. Whatever it is, these are my go-to pants for just about everything. They are perfect for all types of tops, and of course tunics. I will probably be venturing out and buying more colors this year. I always order Missy 8 Curvy Fit in these pants, but at 5'4" they are a bit too long but it doesn't bother me that the hem isn't above my ankle bone. I may try a Petite 10 on my next pair, but I think the length with a 26-1/2" inseam would be less flattering on me. Talbots, keep those Chatham ankle pants coming, and please offer more Curvy Fit colors and prints in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsuitable Fabric I ordered these pants in black in the curvy fit. The fabric is not as advertised. It is a heavy, uncomfortable, elastic-like fabric. It is not cotton, polyester and spandex, but cotton, rayon and spandex. I will be returning them. 98% cotton/2% spandex, which is what my other pair of Chatham pants are made of, is a much better fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from different fabric contents So I purchased the regular Chathams that felt like wearing an emery board or abrasive scrubber. After checking the fabric content, the curvy offer the cotton sateen smooth fabric from years past. The regulars are returned and I will check the fabric content on the items from now on. Amazing difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit and Style! I just got these pants in the Summer Sage color and They fit perfectly at the waist, hips and thighs! And the material is a good weight for summer. I'm going to order white and indigo too!

1) What are the pant lengths, petite vs misses? 2) If I prefer full length over ankle - and normally need a petite length, would that still look ok, or is there some other feature in an ankle length that would make it look strange?

Asked by: love talbots
The pant Inseam for Misses is 29" and Petite 26 1/2". The misses size will also have a longer rise. We recommend locating your size on the Talbots size chart from your actual body measurements. To see the chart, please click the SIZE GUIDE link on the item page where you can easily compare the different size ranges and distinct differences. By following this chart, the garment will fit as you see it on the model. How are the sizes running this season? Have 10p and 8p from previous years and my weight hasn't changed. Ordered the tan heather on sale in 10p and it was much too small, but I altered them and have to wear an overblouse. What size should I order?

Is the fabric content of the current light blue and navy Chatham ankle curvy fit a poly, cotton and spandex blend as the web site states? Or is it a poly, rayon, and spandex blend, the answer from 8 months ago and what mine from last summer are?
