Your Safety Comes First

Wednesday, July 1st

While the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic continue to evolve, we want to take a moment to reiterate our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our customers, store associates and communities. For everyone’s safety, we ask you to please adhere to the following safety precautions. Thank you, in advance, for cooperating with these efforts.
• Cloth face coverings are required for customers and associates in our stores at all times.
• If you’re feeling unwell, please stay home, take care of yourself and shop online.
• Social distancing should be practiced at all times between all customers and associates.

As we all continue to get used to our new ways of living and working, we want to once again thank the healthcare professionals who are on the frontlines caring for our communities. Talbots proudly supports the American Red Cross and has made a donation to support their mission.

How We're Giving Back During COVID-19

Thursday, May 14th

We're endlessly inspired and forever grateful to our frontline heroes—the healthcare workers who tirelessly provide care and comfort to those impacted by COVID-19.

As a gesture of gratitude, we're sending some comfort and appreciation in return.

We've donated T by Talbots yoga pants, tee shirts and socks to women healthcare workers in ten New York and Massachusetts hospitals, hard-hit states where we have our corporate offices.

How We're Helping Others During COVID-19

Saturday, April 25th

Our hearts and thoughts continue to be with our Talbots family and communities right now during these extraordinary times.

When life changes, you notice things in new ways. We’ve probably all become familiar with every inch of our homes in recent weeks and are grateful for the comfort and safety they represent to us. And, we’ve all become increasingly aware of the personal sacrifices our essential healthcare workers – our heroes on the frontlines – make to provide care and comfort to those impacted by COVID-19.

Hospitals we reached out to expressed to us repeatedly that their entire staffs are working tirelessly around the clock, often even sleeping at the hospitals—and of the tremendous need for clean and comfortable clothing. We listened, and we knew that we wanted to help.

We wanted to share some of the ways Talbots is helping our heroes on the frontlines:

To date, we’ve shipped over 6,000 items (including yoga pants, tees and socks) from our T by Talbots collection to female workers. From doctors and nurses to dedicated administrators, these are women on the frontlines in overburdened hospitals in both Massachusetts and New York. These two states have been hit particularly hard by the pandemic, and both are states where Talbots has corporate offices.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of these inspiring women.

Warm Regards,

Lizanne Kindler

Monday, March 30th
To our Talbots family,

We wanted to take a moment to check in and let you know that we think about you daily, and hope you're taking care of yourselves and your families. During such uncertain times, it's more important than ever to nurture your relationships and stay connected—and that's what makes our Talbots community so unique and extraordinary.

While we had originally anticipated to re-open our stores on April 1st, we continue to follow national and local guidance and anticipate that our stores will be closed for another two weeks. We'll keep you posted, and look forward to the day when we can welcome you back through our Talbots Red Doors.

In the meantime, we want to extend a very special invitation for all our customers to enjoy at Talbots.com. Beginning on Wednesday, April 1st–Tuesday, April 7th, our Spring Classic Awards Loyalty Event will be open to all our customers! We've planned special perks for our members and encourage you to join to receive all the benefits. However, even if you don't join, you're welcome to participate in the event. Be sure to check your email this Wednesday to be the first to know what we have planned.

By the way, Wednesday, April 1st is National Walking Day. We started planning special events (that included our stores) months ago. And, while we can't all come together in the way we originally planned, we believe it will be a special moment to come together outside, and on Instagram @talbotsofficial to take a walk and participate as a community (6 feet apart) across the country. Please be sure to follow us, post and share!

In closing, we want you to know that we remain dedicated to honoring the relationships we have forged over seven decades and offer our unwavering optimism for the future. We'll keep you posted on when we reopen and will be excited to welcome you back into our stores. Meanwhile, we're here to support you if you need help with a purchase or a return, or some advice on fit—you can always speak to one of our customer service specialists at 1-800-825-2687.
