Exquisite elegant jacket!
Oh, I just love looking at this jacket -- the color is wonderful. And feeling the softness of the fabric. And looking at the great tailoring details -- especially the scalloping. I bought the matching tie detail blouse for underneath and it's a great dressy look. The fit was perfect. Wow! Great job on this one, Talbots!

Brushed Italian wool scalloped edge Jacket-Thistle
After purchasing the camel and grey Italian wool blazers. I went back and ordered this thistle jacket. it did not disappoint. Same luxurious feel of the fabric of this jacket as with the long blazers, The color is a beautiful and feminine pastel lavender. The color allows it to be worn in all 4 seasons. The fit is spot on. I ordered up my usual size to accommodate a light weight sweater- an Audrey cashmere or a charming cardigan. I also purchased the crepe polka dot with the tie at the neck blouse featured in the picture to wear with it. Happy with my purchase

Loved the color, fabric & scallop; but...
I absolutely love the fabric, color and scalloped edges. I did not like the button snaps as they really did not look very professional unless snapped closed. But then you lose some of the beauty of the scalloped edges. I also wish that the jacket wasn’t quite so boxy. A little more of a feminine cut would have been nice. I did keep the jacket and love the color.

The cutest jacket
I love this jacket! The material is sructured enough and very soft. The scalloped edges are adorable and the lavender color is perfect for spring. I hope they make this in more colors and materials like tweed :)
